Stafford and the Great War – History ExhibitionAncient High House 10am – 4pm
Marking the one hundredth anniversary of the 1918 Armistice. This exhibition brings into sharp focus the impact of four years of bloody conflict. Photos, medals and militaria illustrate the poignant stories of Staffordians who served in all theatres of the war and on the Home Front.

The story of shoe manufacture in Stafford through the objects and people associated with the industry including, Lotus, Mason and Marson, Bostocks and Evode. Put your best foot forward and explore the history of shoes in our town.

Christmas in Days Gone ByAncient High House 10am – 4pm
Meet our costumed characters and learn about Christmas in the Tudor, Stuart, Georgian and Victorian periods. Stir a traditional pudding and sing carols in the Victorian Room. Meet Father Christmas in his grotto.
Children’s and adults Christmas craft workshops and family entertainment.
Mince pies and hot drinks available in the Edwardian Shop
Free admission. No booking necessary.
